This role is potentially hybrid, but as it is a developmental role, we encourage all our Graduates to be onsite as often as possible, especially during the first few months.
Job Description
The salary for this role is £32,729.
This role requires employees to
complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions.

The Role
The Graduate Project Manager is working closely with Project Manager on variety of projects and ensuring that they are executed to a high standard according to established project and technical management processes, leading to delivered solutions of an engineering integrity commensurate with nuclear operations.
- Support the Project Manager, including with project change management.
- Responsible for the creation and management of key documentation for the project(s)
- Responsible for keeping project databases and records up to date and in line with IDP
- Management project changes and deviation documents
Additional Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and provide information for the assigned project(s) as requested
- Analyse Project Data (including finances) and produce standard project reports
- Project secretarial duties including organizing meetings and taking minutes
- Ensure the tracking and timely close out of project actions
- Coordinate and being proactive in closing actions for project manager
- Ensuring that project risks and opportunities are managed
- Support the broader project team, to ensure project success
- Review and advise on project budgets, work orders and purchases
Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- Degree from a professional services type discipline such as project management, business, economics, procurement, finance. However, those with any degree discipline may apply.
- IT literate, fluent in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Powerpoint
- Excellent report/ minutes writing skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Be able to work autonomously, with initiative and minimum supervision
Other Duties:
- Be flexible and able to work across several projects and in several different teams
- Provide support and cover for Central Engineering departmental admin if required.
