We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Software Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will contribute to ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing methodologies.
You will be responsible for testing Live Event Ticketing and Content Management System platforms in an Agile environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold the highest standards of software excellence. As Junior Qa Analyst, You Will
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to understand software requirements and functionality.
- Participate in Scrum meetings, providing insights from a QA perspective to enhance overall product quality.
- Create and execute manual test cases to identify software defects and inconsistencies.
- Validate data integrity, system compatibility, and synchronization across integrated components.
- Perform functional, regression, and sanity testing to ensure the reliability and stability of the application.
- Report and document defects with clear and replicable steps for easy issue resolution.
- Assist in maintaining and updating test documentation, including test plans and test cases.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Contribute to the identification and implementation of test automation opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a clear understanding of testing goals and outcomes.

Office Information
Leap Event Technology is a 100% remote-friendly company. However, we do offer the option of working in the office for employees located in Montréal (CAN), Dallas (U.S.), Sydney (AUS). All of our offices are stocked with snacks and drinks and we provide a free lunch every week. We offer a monthly travel stipend, and even host the occasional themed party and happy hour!
If you don’t live near an office but happen to be visiting nearby, you can work from the office for as long as you need.

Experience & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong passion for software quality assurance and a keen eye for detail.
- Basic understanding of fundamental software testing principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with various manual testing techniques and processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to automated testing practices.
- Basic understanding of programming concepts and scripting languages.
- Prior exposure to testing tools and technologies is advantageous.
- Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.

- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently, demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.
Bonus Skills
- Exposure to Selenium or any other test automation tools.
- Basic knowledge of PHP or equivalent web development frameworks.
- Experience working with e-commerce platforms or content management systems.
- Experience working independently as the sole QA on a development team.
