What will you work on?
- Design and develop responsive, modular, and intuitive web interfaces using modern frontend technologies like Svelte, React, or Vue.js.
- Integrate frontend components seamlessly with backend services and APIs, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
- Develop and maintain robust testing for frontend components using tools like Jest or Playwright.
- Connect frontend to third-party services like Datadog for monitoring and Heap for analytics.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility, including mobile responsiveness, to provide an exceptional user experience across all devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize frontend development tasks that align with business objectives and user needs.

About You
You are an experienced frontend developer with a passion for creating beautiful, intuitive, and high-performing web interfaces. You have a deep understanding of modern frontend technologies and best practices.
Your technical expertise is matched by your strong UX sense and ability to design user-friendly interfaces based on both intuition and data. You are proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript, with solid experience in frameworks/libraries like Svelte, React, or Vue.js. Fluency in TypeScript is a huge plus.
You have a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles, as well as experience with frontend build tools and bundlers like Webpack or Vite. You are well-versed in integrating with RESTful APIs and have a fundamental knowledge of HTTP and how the web and the Internet works.
You are committed to code quality and maintainability, with a strong knowledge of version control systems like Git and platforms such as GitHub. You have experience with frontend testing tools and understand the importance of robust testing in ensuring the stability and reliability of the application.
Benefits
- This is a 100% fully remote role.
- Competitive salary range: ₱150,000 - ₱300,000 per month
- Monday to Friday Philippines business hours mostly. Weekend or outside business hours in exceptional circumstances only. Our team is based in Australia.
- Betterteam also offers 20 days of paid vacation per year and 10 days of paid/sick personal leave per year, plus paid public holidays.
- Potential in the medium term for work visa sponsorship and relocation to Australia if we enjoy working together.
