We are looking for a Software System Engineer to join our growing team based in Bath, United Kingdom.
In the UK, our experts provide capabilities in ground systems engineering, position, navigation, and timing (PNT), Earth observation, AI, and cybersecurity.
Tasks and activities
The scope of work will include:
• Developing software for an innovative spacecraft ground control system.
• Working in a small team, being prepared to be challenged to work on a variety of different tools/technologies.
Skills and experience
The following skills and experience are mandatory:
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated professional experience in the following:
Java
RESTful APIs
Linux
DevOps or DevSecOps
Agile development
Use of Jira or similar
Graphical User Interface
• Desire to work both autonomously and as part of a team, in an international multicultural environment.
• Solution oriented mindset, with a customer focused communication skill.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
The following skills and experience would be highly desirable:
• Front-end development with REACT, Angular or similar.
• Knowledge of spacecraft ground systems.
