Role Overview

Hiragana Times seeks a Desktop Publishing Specialist to join its remote team. This role focuses on designing visually compelling magazine layouts and corporate materials, including brochures and graphics, while adhering to strict deadlines to ensure timely publication.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage magazine layouts using desktop publishing tools.
• Design promotional materials, brochures, and corporate identity assets.
• Collaborate with the editorial team to ensure consistency and visual appeal.
• Deliver high-quality work within deadlines.

Qualifications

• Expertise in desktop publishing and graphic design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign and Illustrator).
• Experience in corporate identity development and promotional material design.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of Japanese language and culture is a plus.
• Publishing industry experience is preferred.
