Information Security, GRC Project Coordinator in BAHRAIN

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Information Security, GRC Project Coordinator at Axipro. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing information security and GRC projects, ensuring compliance with various standards and regulations. Tasks include overseeing analytical assessments, implementing cybersecurity measures, overseeing data privacy and network security, and managing compliance with regulations like ISO, SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR.

Responsibilities:

• Project Coordination:Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of GRC projects, including risk assessments, audits, and compliance initiatives.
• Track project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and proactively address any issues.
• Maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, and project plans.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across departments to ensure project deliverables are met.
• Risk Management Support:Assist in the identification, assessment, and prioritization of risks.
• Track and monitor risk mitigation activities.
• Prepare reports on risk assessments and mitigation plans.
• Compliance Support:Assist with the development and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures.
• Monitor regulatory changes and inform stakeholders of compliance requirements.
• Support the preparation for and execution of compliance audits.
• Data Management:Maintain accurate records of GRC activities, including audit findings, corrective actions, and compliance certifications.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of the GRC database or system.
• Communication and Reporting:Prepare reports and presentations on GRC project status and progress.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Analytical Skills and Information Technology expertise
• Cybersecurity and Network Security knowledge
• Proficiency in Data Privacy regulations
• Strong understanding of information security standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2) and regulations (HIPAA, GDPR)
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus
• Experience in project coordination and compliance management
• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field
