We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Java Developer to join our growing team in a fully remote capacity. Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers and product managers
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving overall code quality
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
Assist in troubleshooting and debugging issues
Contribute to the development of RESTful APIs and microservices
Participate in Agile development processes, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
1-2 years of experience in Java development
Strong understanding of core Java concepts and object-oriented programming
Familiarity with Spring Framework, Hibernate, and RESTful web services
Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL
Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)5
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
