Voip Engineer in MEXICO

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VoIP Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for responding to customer incidents and requests, ensuring the maintenance and optimization of advanced networking and VoIP technologies.

This position is available for candidates located in MEXICO

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Cisco network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN/WLAN.
• Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols, including MPLS, BGP4, and EIGRP.
• Administer and support Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM).
• Maintain and troubleshoot SIP gateways, voice gateways, and VoIP endpoints.
• Monitor and manage network performance using BMC Entuity (Corporate NMS).
• Utilize Netscout for network analysis and troubleshooting.
• Provide timely resolution of customer incidents and service requests, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network enhancements and optimize voice communication systems.
• Document configurations, processes, and procedures for effective knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a VoIP Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco networking technologies and protocols.
• Experience with SIP, VoIP endpoints, and voice gateways.
• Hands-on experience with BMC Entuity and Netscout tools is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with firewall technologies (FW experience is a plus).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or VoIP-related certifications) are a plus.
