About Opreto:
Opreto is seeking an Applied AI Specialist to lead the implementation of NLP-driven features for a new application. This role focuses on leveraging modern LLM (Large Language Model) platforms to deliver real-time term recognition and contextual insights tailored to specific industries.
Key Responsibilities
AI/NLP Development
Implement and fine-tune NLP capabilities using modern LLM platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, Google Vertex AI)
Train models with domain-specific datasets to recognize and contextualize technical terminology
Optimize NLP pipelines for high accuracy, low latency, and scalability in real-time environments
Continuously evaluate model performance, adjusting parameters and datasets as needed to reduce false positives and improve recognition rates
Backend & Integration
Collaborate with the backend team to integrate NLP capabilities into the application
Build scalable and secure AI processing pipelines using AWS
Ensure real-time data flow and processing performance for live meeting scenarios
Testing and Deployment
Conduct internal testing to validate NLP functionality and accuracy in live scenarios
Deploy and maintain AI/NLP services in a cloud environment, ensuring scalability and reliability
Requirements
Qualifications
Technical Skills
5+ years of experience in AI/NLP development with a focus on applying pre-built models
Proficiency in Python for model training, testing, and API integration
Familiarity with modern NLP frameworks (e.g., Hugging Face Transformers, spaCy)
Experience with cloud-native development and deploying AI services on AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration into backend services
General Skills
Analytical mindset with a focus on delivering practical, user-facing solutions
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivation
Nice-to-Have
