Responsibilities:
- Application Development: Design and develop responsive web and mobile applications using the Outsystems platform.
- Work with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications.
- UI/UX Design: Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces.
- Integration: Integrate applications with various data sources and third-party services, ensuring seamless operation.
- Testing: Perform unit testing and participate in system and user acceptance testing to ensure the quality of the applications.
- Deployment: Manage the deployment of applications to various environments, including production, and ensure successful launches.
- Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing applications, addressing bugs, and implementing enhancements.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Outsystems features, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve development processes.
- Participate in research and application of new technologies to products.
- Provide training and mentoring to members. This includes effective onboarding for new employees, training testers on new coding methodologies, guidelines, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development. At least 2 years of experience with the Outsystems platform.
- Proficiency in Outsystems development.
- Strong understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs for integration.
- Experience in handling injection (Sql, Js etc.) and Cross Site Scripting (XSS) Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Ability to debug applications and collaborate with team members to overcome technical problems.
- Hard working, hard playing, learning to improve knowledge and skills, and a friendly attitude.
