About The Role
As a DevOps Engineer in the Platform department, you will be part of the DevOps team and involved in all aspects of Acumatica's end-to-end CI/CD pipeline management, environment provisioning, and operational infrastructure support. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the reliability and scalability of deployment pipelines, enhancing system monitoring, and automating workflows to improve team efficiency.
The primary focus of this role is managing infrastructure as code, cloud management (AWS, Azure), optimizing build and release pipelines, and collaborating with developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to support seamless integration of new and existing features. You will also be responsible for incident management, root cause analysis, and performance optimization across environments.
Job Description
- Automate deployment processes, including CI/CD pipeline implementation, maintenance, and optimization.
- Analyze build and deployment failures, identify root causes, and implement solutions to enhance system stability.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve build tools and deployment workflows.
- Monitor and manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Conduct system performance analysis and optimization.
- Maintain and enhance observability tools for logging, metrics, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, or similar solutions.
Qualifications
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Atlassian Bamboo, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Solid knowledge of containers and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as PowerShell, Bash.
- Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and best practices, including agile development and continuous delivery.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in interaction with developers and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 2+ years of experience in web application test automation and documentation in any language (e.g., C#/Java/Python).
- Understanding of QA processes, best practices, testing techniques, and methodologies.
- Self-motivation and learning capability, ability to work independently.
Nice To Have
- Experience working with ERP, CRM, or enterprise software systems.
- Knowledge of SQL and database systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or cURL.
- Exposure to source control systems like Git and platforms such as Atlassian Bitbucket.
