Project Description:

Our program was started as the migration of the financial instruments trading legacy mainframe system to a new technical, highly-scalable platform. The success of the program in both the migration and creation of a scalable platform led to it being selected as the strategic platform providing full-scale of advisory services for one of the biggest financial institutions in the world. This has led to significant further investment for legacy system migrations and technical improvements. Currently, we have teams across several locations (US, Poland, Canada) on those projects.

Reengineer set of existing applications and introduce additional application interface layer, allowing to query underlying data from third-party applications

Project\Application Description:

Power Apps essential - working on building a workflow tool moving data from one bank to another using an approved process

The tool tracks migration, captures approval, its a control function- end of it you get a permit to migrate - makes the process simple to use

Responsibilities:

- GUI design

- Human interface-type stuff

- Integrating data sources

- Migration of the data

- Checking data quality issues

- Automation improvement

Mandatory Skills Description:

- Strong development background in PowerApps (5+ years of experience)

- Experience with CI/CD process/tools

- Strong experience in SQL development

- Ability to write clean self-describing code

- Knowledge of OOP/OOD principles

- Knowledge of design patterns

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- PowerBI

- Unit, integration, functional testing experience

- Git\GitLab experience
