About the role
To perform this role, you may be experienced with REST APIs, relational databases, software architecture knowledge, and critical thinking skills.
Our tech stack is built on .NET, React, and Python for Machine Learning, and our teams are structured around a product-focused model, with engineers in frontend, backend, and QA, each supported by a dedicated Product Owner and a Design team.
Key responsibilities you will be in charge of
- Collaborating with our designers and product owners to support technical planning and backend architecture.
- Playing a key role in developing a scalable technology platform to support our business growth.
- Mentoring and coaching junior developers, helping them to refine their skills and become excellent professionals in their own right. Through your expertise and guidance, you'll contribute to the success of our team and the advancement of our technology initiatives.
Requirements to succeed in this role
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
- Strong proficiency in .NET Core, C#, and SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
- Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals, RESTful API design and software engineering best practices.
- Effective collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to technical challenges.
