About neat.
We’re a start-up with big ambitions to redefine the cleaning and personal care categories.
neat. was founded on a simple set of principles; merging sustainability with style to create simple, beautiful solutions that inspire everyone to make sustainable choices.
HOW DO WE DO IT? We create beautiful hand and home care solutions that perform brilliantly and cut down on waste. No single-use plastic and no need to ship water around the world.
HOW DOES IT WORK? Our refills are concentrated, so no more shipping unnecessary water and no more bulky products under our sinks. Simply mix them with tap water in our reusable aluminium bottles for plant-based hand and home care without the plastic waste.
WHO ARE WE? neat. co-founders Josie & Ryan met whilst working at Method/Ecover. Using their combined experience in business strategy and product design they took on a BIG problem: single-use plastic and water waste. We’re disrupting the consumer goods industry with our sustainable refill system and our business approach.
As we expand our team, we’re looking for a super creative and highly ambitious Social and Content Exec to bring the brand to life across our lead social channels. Reporting to the Head of Brand & Marketing, the Social and Content Exec will play a key role in our strategic brand objective to make neat. famous.
Here are the main things you’ll find yourself doing day-to-day:
- Content Planning - creating strategically clear, insight-led plans that will deliver on the objectives across lead Social channels
- Content Creation - both static and video (organic and paid) for predominately Meta and Instagram, as well as Email
- Copywriting - you’ll need to be able to come up with great copy that brings our tone of voice to life for social captions, as well as support for email campaign writing
- Community Management - you’ll be responsible for managing all comments and DMs across our social channels, as well as shared responsibility for engaging with comments on paid content
- Influencer Outreach - we’ll need you to be great at pulling together a list of all the right influencers and then handling all outreach, briefing and send-outs for organic (and sometimes paid) content creation
- Reporting - knowing what to post is important but so is measuring what’s working so you can be both strategic and creative
- Overall coordination and brand team support - this includes sample send-outs, coordination of artwork/asset briefing and approvals, ad-hoc customer services support during peak hours, etc. Due to the small nature of our team, there will always be a few things that fall just outside of social media and content
You’ll have:
- 3+ years experience of relevant experience managing social media for a consumer goods brand (or if not a brand, managing your personal brand that shows you know what you’re doing)
- A creative eye for what works on social media, with a keen interest in keeping on top of trends and platform changes/updates (we need you to be our go-to in the team!)
- Good knowledge and experience in creating content and the ability to edit (we’re open as to what tools you use for this)
- Willingness to be camera-facing on social media channels is a plus, but not a necessity
- A roll-your-sleeves-up attitude to get stuck in - we’re a small, passionate team and we all wear lots of hats, so ideally you’d be comfortable with this way of working
- The curiosity to bring inspiration from other brands and categories into your work
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Highly organised, great communicator and a team player
Logistics:
- We’re a fully remote team based all over the UK, but you must have the ability to travel to London for team meetings every month or so
- Our social channels see the highest engagement over evenings (from 6pm) and weekends, so we’d need you to be available at these times (but not as an extension of your contracted hours) to manage our community
What you’ll get:
- Flexible working hours
- A 4-day working week
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata, equivalent to 5 weeks annually)
- The tech you need to get the job done
- Budget for a co-working space if needed
- The opportunity to play a key role in growing a purpose-led, challenger brand
- Access to B Corp discounts
- Lots of 5* rated hand and home care products that we know you’re going to love!
