Senior Dotnet Developer (Contract) in UNITED KINGDOM

Synchro is collaborating with one of the UK’s top software companies to recruit a Senior Backend Developer specialising in .NET / C# for a 6-month contract.

While your primary focus will be .NET development, you’ll also collaborate with your squad to provide support in other areas as needed. Additionally, you’ll contribute to cross-team initiatives with engineers from other squads to enhance our clients core technology.

Your work will primarily involve new development within a Microservices architecture, but you’ll also play a role in maintaining and improving our legacy systems during the ongoing transition.

Our client is currently addressing some technical debt and is on a real mission to rebuild their core platforms using the latest technologies. This platforms services millions of users with highly complex API integrations and a user friendly mobile customer journey. The back end of the new platforms will be primarily designed in a microservices way built using C#.Net Core and the front end UI will be built around React JS

Skills required:

• Strong C# development experience
• Experience with both .NET Core and .NET Web API
• Experience of building Microservices in .Net Core
• Experience using Message Based Architectures
• Experience using both SQL & NoSQL technologies
• Experience of API design
• Cloud development/architecture (Azure)
• Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban)
• Knowledge and experience of Unit Testing (xUnit, nUnit)

ROLE: Backend Developer (C# / .NET)

LOCATION: Fully Remote

DAY RATE: £400 - £500 per day (Outside IR35)
