Security Risk Manager in EUROPEAN UNION

For one of my customer we are looking for a Security risk consultant.

Duration: 6+ months renewable

Location: 100% remote


Description:

You will be part of the SIP team (Security Integrated into Projects) objective is to embed robust cybersecurity measures and compliance protocols into the earliest stages of IT project development. By integrating security from the outset, we aim to proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and safeguard our systems and data.


The Senior Risk Analyst specialized in AI will ensure cybersecurity and compliance measures from the earliest stages of IT solutions, rather than treating security as an afterthought.


Skills:

  • Work with AI Project Managers and AI Providers to conduct comprehensive risk assessments for AI systems and AI projects, identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies to address and reduce identified risks by reviewing templates from AI Providers to ensure applicability, scope and determine Security Measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders, to integrate risk management practices into AI development and deployment processes.
  • Ensure the involvement and validation of other stakeholders (IT Security Architecture, Cybersecurity Risk Management, Enteprise Architect, PMO, legal)
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI technologies, risk management practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert guidance and recommendations to the SIP Lead on AI-related risk issues.


Education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Cybersecurity, especially in security integration into projects in an AI environement.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, machine learning algorithms, and data analytics.
  • Proven experience in conducting risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies for AI systems.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and industry standards related to AI and data security.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISM, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor) are advantageous.
  • Good understanding of Export Control, ISO 27001, GDPR, and other relevant standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
