The Quality Reporting Data Analyst serves as technical support, to develop and produce tools that support the daily quality operations and provide reporting capabilities to measure or track performance levels. This position is a combination of data analysis and development of quality improvement tools/methods to centralize and monitor defined clinical/non-clinical performance metrics and regulatory deliverables.
As a key resource, this role requires a high degree of accuracy along with attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to consistently meet deadlines.
Job Summary Details
- Define, analyze and document requirements at the program or project level that can help fulfill business goals and objectives.
- Identify data inconsistencies or other possible areas of concern, assess potential impact and recommend mitigation strategies to department management.
- Intake reporting requests to develop reports that meet the need/intent, and implement and produce informative, meaningful and actionable results.
- Automate and monitor standard reports to measure the effectiveness of the Quality Management and Improvement Programs.
- Provide reporting to allow management to direct and guide the organization towards achieving and maintaining quality of care and services.
- Develop reporting tools to monitor and assess effectiveness of QMI activities including but not limited to cultural competency, grievances and appeals, network access and availability, facility audits and utilization management, for state and program reporting. Monitor and evaluate progress of improvement activities quarterly for internal, state and/or client reporting.
- Support and collaborate with management and department heads to implement strategies to comply with contract and regulatory requirements.
- Safeguard and secure any and all PHI from misuse in strict accordance with Liberty’s Information Security Policies and Procedures.
- Follow safety guidelines outlined by Liberty Dental Plan’s Illness and Injury Prevention Program (IIPP). Maintain a safe and productive working environment following established protocols.
- Coordinate efforts with regional offices when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned and deemed appropriate.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
- 4 Year / Bachelors Degree-or equivalent experience in similar field.
- 2 years' experience in operational and process reporting support.
Specific Skills/Knowledge
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (i.e. V-Lookups, pivot tables, complex formulas, and data manipulation).
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Access, SQL, and Power BI, or other database applications (i.e. create tables, queries, joins, and data manipulation).
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented with ability to demonstrate command of details and to articulate those details at a higher level.
- Ability to work independently. Facilitation skills preferred.
- Ability to function effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure, remaining flexible and resourceful while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Ability to identify and analyze the design of jobs, work processes, and workflows for the department.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of organization to consistently adhere to internal, external and regulatory reporting requirements
- Ability to maintain productivity and quality metric reports for each team member.
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills with ability to effectively represent the company with all internal and external customers, providing the highest level of customer service.

Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary for this position is $62,000 - $73,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at Liberty, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any, final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
