IT Support Engineer - relocate to live and work in the Cayman Islands!

We are searching for an experienced and highly mobile IT Support Engineer who would enjoy relocating to join a prominent MSP and provider of IT Solutions and Consultancy services based in the Cayman Islands. This is a customer-facing, Support Engineer (L2) role, that will involve supporting a diverse base of managed services clients including banking/investment, legal, accounting, government, hospitality and more.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Manage customer IT Service requests and provide on-going proactive and reactive support (both remote and on-site).
  • Act as a point of escalation for the Helpdesk.
  • Assist with client discovery visits, new client onboarding, project, and service implementations.
  • Maintain documentation and provide information, technical training, and/or knowledge transfer to both internal staff and customers.
  • Work with the sales team to provide sales opportunities from problem analysis and assist with sales where needed.
  • Ensure time is correctly managed and logged within the Service Desk for all activities.
  • Other engineering support as assigned.


We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 3 years of experience in one or more of the following:

  • Working in a Managed Services / Professional Services role, or equivalent.
  • Experience working in or with a Service or Helpdesk and knowledge of ticket handling, prioritization, categorizing and escalation of IT issues.
  • Experience of Deployment / Support scenarios around solutions and vendors such as Cloud (Microsoft), Servers/Storage, VMware, Backup/DR (Veeam), or Networking (Cisco/Aruba/Fortinet).
  • Relevant professional certifications from Microsoft and/or other vendors


This is a full-time, employee based position in the Cayman Islands. Due to the relocation involved, preferred candidates will be able to relocate relatively easily and have interest in making a long-term move to Grand Cayman.
