Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies aligned with growth plans for multiple business entities
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing recruitment team, ensuring consistent quality of hiring processes and candidate experience
  • Design and implement recruitment KPIs and metrics to measure effectiveness, efficiency, and ROI of recruitment activities
  • Manage recruitment budget and optimize resource allocation across various hiring channels and initiatives
  • Partner with department heads to understand hiring needs, provide strategic consultation, and ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Establish standardized recruitment processes while maintaining flexibility for diverse role requirements across technical and non-technical positions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including recruitment agencies, job boards, and professional networks
  • Create and implement innovative sourcing strategies to build robust talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
  • Oversee the continuous improvement of recruitment systems, tools, and technologies
  • Collaborate with People Operations on employer branding, onboarding processes, and performance analytics to continuously improve hiring quality and retention
  • Monitor recruitment market trends and competitor activities to maintain competitive advantage in talent acquisition
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employer brand and improve candidate attraction strategies
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, employment laws and regulations across all recruitment activities


Requirements

  • 7+ years of recruitment experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Track record of success building and managing recruitment teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Experience in technical recruitment, particularly in software or industrial automation businesses
  • Strong understanding of recruitment strategy, metrics and resource management
  • Familiary with ATS software and relevant candidate sourcing platforms
  • Business-level fluency in English and Japanese (both written and verbal)
  • Excellent cross-cultural communication skills & awareness


Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in both internal TA management and external agency roles
  • Experience in startups or similar high-growth environments
  • Experience leading employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives
  • Knowledge of Japanese labor law and recruiting practices

Work Hours

8:45 - 17:45 (with a 60-minute break)
