The Role
As a Senior Motion Graphics Designer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and creating strategic digital content for paid and organic advertisement including, blogs, newsletters, social media, and other inbound and outbound platforms. Your expertise in animation, storytelling, and design will be pivotal in producing impactful visuals for social media, advertisements, and other digital channels. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring creative ideas to life, adapt to market trends, and enhance the brand’s digital presence through innovative motion graphics.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute motion graphics, animations, and video content tailored to the customer journey.
- Conceptualise and produce high-quality animated assets for social media, websites, video ads, and other digital platforms.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to deliver creative visuals that enhance brand storytelling.
- Evolve and maintain a consistent motion design style aligned with the brand's identity.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in motion design and animation, and apply best practices to deliver engaging content.
- Optimise video and motion graphics for different platforms, ensuring top performance and visual quality.
- Provide creative direction and leadership during brainstorming sessions.
- Work directly with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to align design strategies with overall marketing goals and objectives.
- Occasionally produce static graphic assets to support campaigns or supplement motion content.
- Ad hoc content creation and marketing activities for other associated entities, from time to time.
Skills and Experience
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to articulate design concepts clearly.
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in motion graphics, animation, and storytelling.
- Proficiency in motion graphics software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Cinema 4D (or similar tools).
- Experience with video editing and integrating dynamic motion assets into broader video content.
- Understanding of design principles, typography, and colour theory as they apply to motion graphics.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
