Senior Golang Developer – Backadmin/API in CYPRUS

Job Description:

Join Our Team as a Senior Golang Developer – Backadmin/API to work in our offices based in Limassol.

Responsibilities:

1. Proven working experience in HTTP API service development.
2. Familiar with Golang and frameworks used in the Go Programming language.
3. Familiar with HTTP/Websocket, JSON/Protobuffer.
4. Familiar with middlewares: Redis, Mysql, ES, Kafka, etc.
5. Strong communication skills.
6. Proven resourcefulness in troubleshooting complex problems.
7. Familiar with Cloud/SRE/AWS/GCP is a plus.
8. Familiar with Slots Game is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience of 5+ years as a Golang developer, with a focus on backend development and API design.
3. Proficiency in Go or Java programming language.
4. Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
5. Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
6. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
7. Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2 and JWT.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyse complex systems and troubleshoot issues.
9. Fluency in the English language is a must.
