Join our team as a Network Engineer (Full Remote – Portugal)!


What You'll Do:


  • Assure network availability and quality, collaborating with internal teams to perform repair actions.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of projects, covering design, implementation, and operations.
  • Monitor networks and associated systems to ensure proper functioning.
  • Perform daily performance and root cause analyses to improve system reliability.
  • Participate in the lifecycle management of systems’ software and hardware.
  • Utilize existing tenant provisioning tools to support network operations.
  • Enhance automation processes for provisioning, alarming, and lifecycle activities.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical documentation.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience in network engineering roles.
  • Strong expertise with at least two platforms: Cisco ACI, Cisco Nexus, F5, Checkpoint, Gigamon.
  • Proficiency in scripting (preferably Python) for network automation.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code principles, with experience using tools like Ansible and/or Terraform.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices, including automated testing and version control.
  • Experience with programmable network equipment interfaces (e.g., RESTful APIs, NETCONF/YANG).
  • Experience with modern monitoring solutions (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Splunk).
  • Previous work experience in a large Telecom or Internet Service Provider environment.
  • Knowledge of ITIL Service Operation principles.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
