Job Description
We are looking for an experienced React Native Software Engineer, Senior or Mid-level, responsible for building applications using React Native. (Android & iOS). You will work directly with the rest of the Mobile (Android and iOS), Backend, and Product teams to develop new features that delight our users and enhance existing ones to scale. Relocation is required to San Salvador, El Salvador.
Responsibilities
Design, develop and deliver app from scratch using React Native
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Work independently and collaborate with teams dedicated to various areas of the company product team, including product managers, designers, and Backend engineers, to come up with the best solutions and implementation plans for new features or changes to existing ones
Share knowledge and know-how of best practices with the team
Implement UX and UI in our customer-facing app and sometimes design it yourself based on our existing design system and components
Contribute to the estimations, planning, and execution of projects, features, and integrations
Maintain and improve our existing codebase
Write fully tested, high quality and performant code
Required Qualifications
Extensive understanding and experience as a React Native and/or Android/iOS engineer. You are at least familiar with how the Android platform works, including a solid understanding of how React Native internally works
Strong command of Git version control and workflows
Mobile know-how in building Android and iOS apps
Ability to take ownership and will be able to guide and influence product decisions
Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Detox, etc.
Strong oral and written English communication skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering required or equivalent experience

Proficient in TypeScript
Experience being a tech lead or mobile platform architect
Blockchain Experience
Crypto world enthusiast
