Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our team remotely. This role is integral to ensuring our product's quality and performance through meticulous automation testing. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality assurance and possesses strong communication skills, both written and verbal, that will contribute to our collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Cypress, Cucumber, Capybara, and RSPEC.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and refine test cases.
- Analyze test results to identify defects and ensure product integrity.
- Implement and improve automation framework for continuous integration processes.
- Document and communicate test plans, test results, and testing progress effectively.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the QA team in automation processes.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in automation testing and quality assurance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance and Automation Testing.
- Proficiency in automation testing tools including Cypress, Cucumber, Capybara, and RSPEC.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
- Experience in Agile development environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with additional programming languages and scripting.
- Experience with cloud-based testing environments.
- Background in software development or engineering.
