Take part in the creation of a pioneering tool that brings digitization to a market where manual processes are still the common scenario.
While being a Frontend developer in vc-Trade you'll advocate for shaping the platform design , while also keeping a focus in the performance and smooth navigation.
Activities
- Contribute as UI developer in one of our scrum teams
- Write and deliver high quality code
- Guarantee code quality with unit tests
- Help us improve the user experience
- Discuss and propose solutions with architects
- Develop and improve standards together with the frontend team
Requirements
- At least 2 years experience in frontend development
- Good knowledge of frontend technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS
- Having worked with Vue.js for > 1 year
- Experience in human-centered design desirable
- Experience working in Scrum
- Team player, taking initiative, high quality standards
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a plus
Team
Widely multicultural team, with 40 employees with around 14 different nationalities, working in different offices, with English as the working language.
Currently we have 2 feature teams, consolidated with members with defined roles and responsibilities.
All teams work with a scrum methodology.

Since entering the market in March 2018, vc trade has already placed over 40% of the issued Schuldscheindarlehen (promissory note loans), and in 2022, it reached over 60%. Overall, we have facilitated a total volume of over €39 billion across 250 transactions. We work closely with all market participants, often through cooperation agreements, including banks as arrangers and lenders, corporates as borrowers, and institutional investors.
Until 2022, the company was completely self-financed. Since May 2022, a consortium of banks has invested in vc trade, while still maintaining full flexibility.
