Mobile Developer - Relocation to Cyprus in CYPRUS

Our client is one of the leading financial institutions in Cyprus.

The project aims to develop a modern mobile banking platform that allows users to manage accounts, make transfers, and pay bills on the go.

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will work on customizing, maintaining, and enhancing mobile applications based on the Backbase out-of-the-box (OOTB) solution. The role requires a proactive individual capable of handling feature customization, maintenance, and deployment while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless solutions. Prior experience with Backbase solutions is a significant advantage.

This is an onsite role, and we’re seeking someone who will work directly from the client’s office in Nicosia.

Relocation Conditions:

A €2,000 relocation bonus (€3,000 if relocating with family).

• Write custom code to tailor the platform features to meet specific business requirements
• Address and resolve bugs effectively
• Upgrade the mobile app as necessary
• Update dependencies to ensure compatibility and security
• Monitor Apple and Google policy changes, applying necessary updates to maintain compliance
• Provide production support to ensure optimal app performance
• Design and develop custom components from scratch to enhance application functionality
• Manage and execute application deployment processes
• Work closely with Backbase support teams to resolve issues and achieve project goals
• Gain deep knowledge and expertise in Backbase OOTB platforms, focusing on its features and customization capabilities

• Proven experience in mobile application development (iOS, Android, or cross-platform)
• Strong understanding of Backbase solutions is highly preferred
• Proficiency in writing and customizing code for feature enhancements
• Experience in production support, app maintenance, and upgrades
• Familiarity with mobile app deployment and dependency management
• Up-to-date knowledge of Apple and Google app policies and compliance
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with teams
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
