One of our prestigious iGaming clients based in Malta has just opened up a role for Senior DevOps Engineer. The client provides a range of iGaming services within the B2C and B2B market including casino/sportsbook, white-label solutions, a games provider and an aggregator service.
We are looking for a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux-based infrastructure, automation, scripting, and CI/CD tools. In this role, you will oversee and maintain our dedicated hosted infrastructure, ensuring it remains consistently available, secure, and scalable.
Job Responsibilities:
· Enhance and support CI/CD systems.
· Take ownership of continuous integration systems across projects.
· Collaborate with teams to set up new platform environments.
· Optimize release pipeline automation for current and upcoming products.
· Script and automate processes within the environment.
· Research and implement best practices through system evaluations.
· Advance our monitoring and alerting systems.
· Assist with application deployment and debugging within the environment.
· Address and report critical security incidents, implementing corrective actions in line with security policies and procedures.
· Participate in an on-call rotation to address business-critical events.
What we'd like from you:
· A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar role.
· Strong proficiency in developing automated CI/CD pipelines.
· Skilled in setting up, managing, and deploying systems on containerized infrastructures.
· Familiarity with leading cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, and Oracle.
· Experience with tools including Grafana, Loki, Nginx, CloudFront, RabbitMQ, Ansible, and Terraform.
· Proficient in containerization technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes.
· Solid experience working with Linux operating systems.
· Knowledge of microservices architecture.
· Previous experience in the iGaming industry is advantageous but not essential.
