A vibrant and growing online only international school is seeking a Front-End Developer for a full-time permanent role. The position is paying circa £50,000 per annum and is fully remote (from within the UK).

The organisation have established a new role for a Front-End Developer to continue development of their enterprise IT platform for students, parents & teachers and the organisation overall.
As part of the technology team, and reporting to the Senior Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Contributing to the development of web applications in React Interactive User Interfaces.
- Developing key applications in Microsoft Azure cloud platform using .NET Core, DevOps, and private API development, serverless and messaging architectures, public and private networking, relational and non-relational databases, and automated testing technologies.
- To work across all IT development projects.
- Develop according to allocated backlog priorities as assigned by senior developers and business analysts in DevOps.
- Ensure that key Agile principles are kept to, including unit test coverage, integration test coverage, quality assurance, continuous improvement, and peer review.
- Work across the development team with senior developers and business analysts on allocation of work, capacity, technical designs, implementation, and evolution of development methods.
- Provide IT project delivery advice to ensure strategies, approaches, dependencies, relationships, risks, and issues are being managed correctly
- Create, maintain, and regularly review documentation in DevOps
Candidate requirements:
- Solid React development experience gained working with web applications through full application development lifecycle.
- Demonstrable experience of developing software solutions in React, C#, HTML, SQL, JavaScript, CSS.
- Experience in Microsoft Azure focused agile software environments using source control, through build automation, merge resolution, CI, test automation, deployment based on tools usage and policies, standards
- In-depth familiarity with solution design and delivery in technologies such as:
- .Net/.Net Core/C#/React/CSS
- Azure technologies including Docker/Elastic Stack/Azure Kubernetes
- Data/Systems Integration – experience at integrating complex data systems using Microsoft SQL server backends
- Knowledge of common architectural patterns – particularly API-driven design and microservices.
- Knowledge of solution design, development, and delivery in complex environments
The role would be best suited for a talented and ambitious Front-End Developer, strong in both React and .NET / C#. The organisation is growing and investing in new technologies continually so there is change for significant growth in terms of responsibility and salary over the short-medium term.
