Software Engineer in Test in COLOMBIA

We are looking for an SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test), a developer with the primary responsibility of writing and maintaining integration tests for product features. It is a challenging role and provides a great opportunity to design, develop, and maintain excellent test coverage in wide arrays of products/features.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience in test architecture and design patterns.
• Great JavaScript and Python skills.
• Know and apply coding standards and best practices (e.g., SOLID, clean code).
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Appium, Cypress).
• Familiar with Continuous Delivery tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, and/or Travis.
• Passionate about problem-solving with attention to detail.
• Strong English communication skills - Minimum B2 level proficiency

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain test automation scripts for web applications.
• Collaborate with engineers from other groups along with cross-team project managers to design and implement integration tests for new features.
• Participate in the development, deployment, and maintenance of QA processes, tools, and supporting technologies.
• Help to convert business requirements into technical requirements, design, and develop system acceptance criteria, and test plans with a focus on coverage, performance, and automation.
• Identify process improvements, error trends, and/or the root causes and make recommendations for possible solutions.
