About The Role
We are looking for Senior Analytics Engineers to help scale our business and sustain Trade Republic hyper growth. This person will become a part of a product delivery team of superstars ranging from product, engineering, data, design and operations. Every product delivery team is responsible for ingesting, modelling and publishing their data.
You will design, develop and maintain data products such as data models, dashboards and reports. Additionally, you will be a sparring partner for your Product Owner to define Success Metrics. Your stakeholders are the colleagues within your team and other teams that need access to your data products. For example, you will design, build and maintain the data models of your team and other teams will be interested in accessing those models.
You will leverage the self-service Analytics Platform offered by our Central Data Platform team. You will follow the best practices and governance requirements defined in our architecture to guarantee interoperability between teams.
Please note that the position is based in Berlin, Germany. Relocation support will be provided if applicable.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Working closely with product and business stakeholders to define and build meaningful product metrics
- Develop analytical products such as data models, dashboards, reports and tooling to enable self-serve reporting and analysis for stakeholders.
- Maintaining our data models end-to-end, from ingestion to transformation and publish
- Collaborating closely with Central Data Platform teams and your cross functional product & engineering team
- Improve our architecture (snowflake and dbt) based on what brings the most impact to cost reduction and speed, applying software engineering best practices
- Design reusable data models and develop high quality pipelines
- Take full ownership of projects from scoping to delivery and adoption, working autonomously

- At least 5 years of engineering experience with an analytical mindset
- Solid understanding of architectures, design principles and engineering best practices
- Strong bias to action and iteration
- Experience across all stages of the data pipeline: ingestion, transformations, mart creation
- Experience with our tech stack is a bonus: S3/Snowflake/Airflow/Python/DBT
- You're a self-starter who thrives under a high level of autonomy.
- You're eager to teach, learn and grow together with your team, you promote knowledge sharing
- A humble and conscious approach that not all good ideas are yours, and not all ideas are good
