PPC Manager | Gibraltar | On-Site
A leading global brand in the online sports betting and gaming industry is seeking a PPC Manager to drive performance and optimisation of large-scale, high-budget paid search campaigns across multiple platforms, including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Apple Search Ads, and Search Ads 360. Reporting to the Head of Paid Search, this role is crucial for new customer acquisition and overall commercial success.
The ideal candidate will combine hands-on PPC expertise with leadership experience, managing a team while contributing to the strategy, execution, and performance of paid search activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage large-scale, high-budget paid search accounts, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives and KPI targets (e.g., ROAS, FTDs, CPA, conversion rates).
- Support the Head of Paid Search in planning and executing PPC activities across a portfolio of brands.
- Lead and manage PPC campaigns across platforms, including Google Marketing Platform, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Apple Search Ads.
- Report on PPC performance to key stakeholders, identifying areas for improvement and applying learnings to future campaigns.
- Provide seasonal campaign coverage for Sportsbook and Casino activity.
- Develop innovative strategies through testing, analysis, and optimisation.
- Ensure compliance with SEM best practices in account structure, campaign setup, ad serving, and optimisation.
- Recruit, train, and manage new team members, fostering their development and ensuring high team performance.
- Collaborate with the Head of Paid Search to define and execute channel OKRs.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on PPC experience, either in an agency or in-house, managing high-budget campaigns.
- Demonstrable expertise in developing and optimising PPC accounts in fast-paced, agile environments.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Search Ads 360, Apple Search Ads, and Google Analytics.
- Understanding of PPC tracking and cross-channel attribution.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in reporting and advanced Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing teams of varying sizes.
- Degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or a related discipline.
- Desirable: Experience with YouTube/Video and Display/Remarketing within Google Ads.
