We are seeking a skilled Backend Ruby on Rails Software Engineer to develop and maintain robust backend systems. You will be instrumental in building scalable APIs, improving system performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and product enhancements.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Ruby on Rails
Create and optimize GraphQL APIs to support web and mobile applications
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to release new features and improvements
Enhance application performance, reliability, and scalability
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions
Participate in system architecture discussions to ensure best practices are followed
Tech Stack
Backend: Ruby on Rails with GraphQL API
Frontend: Monorepo structure supporting web and mobile applications (React Native)
CI/CD: GitHub Actions
Package Management: pnpm
Requirements
Experience developing backend systems with Ruby on Rails
Proficiency in GraphQL API development
Familiarity with React or React Native for backend-frontend interaction
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like GitHub
Knowledge of monorepo architecture or TurboRepo is a plus
Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset
