Overview

We’re looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Tech Tester to join our team and ensure our products exceed our clients’ expectations for accuracy, functionality, and compliance.

As a QA Tech Tester, you’ll work remotely with our development and product teams to thoroughly test our software applications and ensure they are robust, secure, and meet regulatory standards in the UK financial sector. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test cases, identifying and troubleshooting issues, and working closely with developers to drive a seamless release process.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and ensure a full testing strategy.
• Design, create, and execute test cases for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues; communicate findings effectively to developers and stakeholders.
• Write and maintain automated tests for key components to improve the efficiency and coverage of the testing process.
• Conduct testing for cross-browser and mobile compatibility, usability, and security to ensure product stability and high quality.
• Participate in release planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to advocate for quality standards and processes.
• Monitor and report testing outcomes and metrics to team leads and stakeholders.

Work Hours

• 10:00am - 7:00pm Israel Time Sunday-Thursday
• Annual leave - 22 days excluding Jewish holidays

Your skills & experience

Essential

• 2+ years of experience as a QA Tester, preferably with experience in the financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and execution.
• Familiarity with automation tools for the backend (Laravel; e.g PHPUnit) and the frontend (JavaScript; e.g Cyprus, Selenium)
• Experience with agile methodologies and collaborative tools (e.g., ClickUp, Confluence, Git).
• Knowledge of financial regulatory requirements for the UK market is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate within a remote, multicultural team.

Desired

• Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
