Senior Information Security Specialist ( Budapest)
A world leading global based in Budapest are seeking a Senior Information Security Specialist.
This role safeguards the information systems by implementing and managing security protocols, responding to security events, and fostering a strong security culture. The successful candidate will enhance security measures through technical improvements, collaboration with IT and development teams, and consistent monitoring of protective controls.
As the Information Security Specialist you will be responsible for:
- Incident Response & Root Cause Analysis: Remain calm under pressure and resolve security incidents efficiently.
- System Security Maintenance: Priorise areas of high security risk.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with global teams to ensure security standards are upheld in all applications and systems.
- Documentation & Communication: Draft clear, accessible documentation (procedures, risk assessments, reports) to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Prioritization & Time Management: Balance multiple responsibilities, focusing on the delivery of security improvements.
- Learning & Growth: Commit to developing technical and interpersonal skills.
The Information Security Specialist will have the following experience:
- Experience: 2-4 years in Information Security with hands-on experience in Microsoft Defender suite tools (Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, MCAS).
- Tool Proficiency: Experience with tools like Azure Sentinel, Azure Active Directory, Compliance Center, Exchange, and Cloudflare.
- Cloud Knowledge: Proficiency with public cloud environments (AWS, Azure), including IAM, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, and Inspector.
- Certifications: A background in Information Security certifications, particularly with a cloud focus.
- Communication Skills: Ability to clearly convey technical concepts to a broad range of stakeholders.
