Product Designer/ Product Owner - £50,000 - £60,000 – Fully Remote + Benefits

Working hours of 9 am – 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

A digital transformation agency like no other. This team is on the lookout for a dynamic Product Designer/owner who wants to work for a team who are leaders in their field.

Fully Remote opportunity

This team helps their clients design and build “best in class” digital products through;

  • commercially focussed strategic advice
  • innovation in terms of features and integrations
  • Considered and meticulous UX
  • bespoke and unique UI
  • scalable, reliable engineering

When digital projects of any scale (especially complex ones) go wrong, there are significant commercial and human impacts.

Part of the value they add to a client is scanning the horizon to foresee and mitigate issues that might result in awkward conversations. They work by being honest and upfront and protect the clients they work with from embarrassment through expert advice and inspiring work.

‘The happiness of our team and our success as a business relies on us maintaining the highest standards from initial contact with a prospect to final delivery of a project.’

You’ll be dealing directly with the client as they want their clients to deal directly with Subject Matter Experts, whether that is strategic, design, or engineering. This ensures that they add value in every call and without delay in relaying messages.

Roles and Responsibilities

This is a senior role within the business, working closely with the Directors, and involved in decisions that will have an impact on the success of the business.

Great delivery starts with a great discovery. You will be in the vital role of advising and interfacing with clients to understand their objectives and work with them to deliver a project that meets their needs.

Key skills include;

  • Agency or B2B experience
  • Taking responsibility for the design process, and guiding the design team to ensure the output of this phase of the project has already provided answers to the UX and
  • feature challenges of a project.
  • Meticulous understanding and management of UX is possibly the most important requirement for the role.
  • The ability to facilitate conversations to enhance products, and find solutions that both optimise the user experience and organisational ROI
  • Awareness of the latest third-party apps, UI patterns, and customer journeys
  • Ability to plan elements of UX, including user stories
  • Understanding of technical concepts and modern software development standards, methodologies and best practices, including CI/CD, microservices, automated testing, W3C, PageSpeed, cloud hosting, 2FA, User Acceptance Tests, etc
  • Ability to plan and estimate the cost of digital projects.

As a customer-facing role, fluent English is required and you must be in the UK to apply for this position.
