Lead Fullstack PHP Developer in SOUTH AFRICA

Our client based in Netherlands, integrates all processes of buying and selling trucks without having to physically check in and out. As a Senior full stack PHP Developer you will be assigned to one of the product teams. These teams are involved in check-in (the process of checking in vehicles.) or logistics (the process of shipping a vehicle from one side of the world to the other).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science and having a proven track record in writing “clean code” solutions according to SOLID principles (incl. TDD and test frameworks such as PHPUnit)
• At least 7 years of demonstrable experience in PHP
• Management experience
• Excellent knowledge of PHP and AWS
• Experience in designing and working with CI/CD
• Hands-on experience with frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, Zend etc.
• Experience in working with REST APIs, ensuring they are performant and scalable
• RDBMS (MySQL) and NoSQL databases and advanced JavaScript concepts, front-end frameworks such as Vue.js, React is an advantage
• Experience with tools such as Vagrant or Docker is a plus, Version control systems such as Git, and search engines such as Solr or Elastic
