UI/UX Designer in NEW ZEALAND

Are you passionate about creating intuitive, beautiful, and user-centered designs? We’re looking for a UI/UX Designer to join our team and help shape the visual and interactive experience of Grimguard. In this role, you’ll work closely with our art, design, and development teams to craft interfaces that are as engaging as they are functional, guiding players through an immersive game world. 

Responsibilities: 

• Design and prototype user interfaces that are visually engaging and easy to navigate. 
• Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure UI integrates seamlessly with gameplay. 
• Conduct user research and testing to understand player needs and behaviors, iterating on designs for continuous improvement. 
• Develop UI assets and animations, ensuring consistency with the game’s visual style. 
• Maintain a player-centric approach, ensuring all interactions are smooth, intuitive, and engaging. 

Requirements: 

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably in gaming or interactive media. 
• Strong portfolio showcasing experience in user-centered design, wireframing, and prototyping. 
• Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.). 
• A keen eye for detail, typography, color, and composition. 
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork. 
• Unity experience is a plus.
