Job Title: Propulsion Test Engineer

Location: Denmark

Salary: €70,000


The Job:

We are looking for an experienced Propulsion Test Engineer to join a leading provider of advanced Orbital launch services.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the testing of propulsion systems, designing and maintaining test benches, and leading test campaigns for rocket engines and related cryogenic components. You will play a key role in advancing propulsion technology and supporting the development of testing infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain test benches for rocket engines and cryogenic systems.
  • Lead engine test campaigns, collaborating closely with various teams to ensure smooth system integration and test execution.
  • Create and refine test plans, procedures, and documentation in line with industry safety guidelines.
  • Analyse test data, conduct reviews, and propose improvements to both products and processes.
  • Provide on-the-ground support at our outdoor testing facilities, managing upgrades to equipment and ensuring system performance validation.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in propulsion testing or a related field, with experience in cryogenics, high-pressure systems, and test infrastructure.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks), P&IDs, and simulation tools (e.g., Ecosimpro, Amesim).


Location

This position is based in Denmark, with some time spent at the rocket testing facility nearby. The city is a vibrant, environmentally-conscious city known for its high standard of living and active lifestyle.
