As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of a dedicated team, helping to manage and develop a secure, scalable cloud infrastructure that fuels innovation for public sector institutions around the globe.
You’ll be part of a small, remote team that’s seriously passionate about what’s ahead. They’re counting on you to bring your technical know-how and fresh ideas as they build, optimise, and elevate their platforms. 2025 is packed with opportunities, and your impact will be felt across:
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, develop, and maintain cloud systems on Azure and AWS, supporting the ever-evolving platform needs of our client’s products.
- Systems Optimisation: Keep cloud infrastructure in peak form with proactive monitoring for performance, scalability, and security.
- CI/CD Development: Champion CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and refine DevOps practices.
- Infrastructure as Code: Tap into tools like Terraform and CloudFormation to automate infrastructure with ease.
- Innovate Cloud Operations: Drive new initiatives and explore emerging cloud tech—this is where it gets really exciting!
- Collaborate for Transformation: Work alongside a talented team, embedding DevOps methodologies to integrate seamlessly with software development.

Skills We’re Looking For
Whether you’re an experienced pro or building up your skills, here’s what you’ll bring:
- Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS is essential.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Knowledge of CI/CD tools and DevOps methodologies to keep processes smooth and collaborative.
- Infrastructure Automation: Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus—even if you’re just starting out!
- Containerisation & Orchestration: Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar? That’s a bonus.
- Configuration & Monitoring: Skilled in Ansible, Puppet, or similar, plus monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
- Compliance Know-How: Familiarity with PCI DSS, GDPR, or similar regulations is the cherry on top.
- Scripting Skills: Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting is a plus (but don’t worry if you’re still building these skills).
- Windows & IIS Administration: Advanced understanding of Windows, IIS, and SQL database maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in Azure and/or AWS.
- Security best practices in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with .NET, Java, Redis, nginx, and SSH environments.
