We are seeking a talented DevOps Coach and Acceleration Specialist willing to relocate to or currently located in Brussels, Belgium.


In this position, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional squads, ensuring alignment with customer needs while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and success. This is an exciting opportunity to lead, coach, and innovate in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.


Key Responsibilities


1. DevOps Transformation and Agile Acceleration

  • Collaborate with squads to drive Agile transformation and improve software delivery speed and quality.
  • Streamline software delivery processes with a strong focus on security and Agile practices.
  • Ensure delivery practices align with customer needs to promote customer success.

2. Coaching, Mentoring, and Technical Leadership

  • Act as a lead coach and mentor, guiding team members in Agile and DevOps principles.
  • Provide strategic input on the continuous delivery pipeline and shape its evolution.
  • Explore and share innovative tools, processes, and technologies to inspire growth.

3. DevOps Maturity and Success Architecture

  • Contribute to the DevOps maturity roadmap, focusing on industry best practices.
  • Develop and advocate for pipeline blueprints and standardized architectural patterns.
  • Serve as a customer advocate, translating feedback into actionable improvements.

4. Customer-Centric Leadership

  • Foster a customer-first mindset across DevOps practices.
  • Engage with internal customers to tailor DevOps solutions to their delivery needs.
  • Liaise between technical teams and leadership to ensure trust and collaboration.

5. Strategic DevOps Contributions

  • Lead automation and pipeline enhancement initiatives across architecture, design, development, and testing phases.
  • Implement "compliance-as-code" principles to ensure security and regulatory compliance.
  • Present solutions and demos to global teams, adapting to flexible schedules as required.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in IT automation, including at least 2+ years in a leadership role driving SDLC pipeline improvements.
  • Strong expertise in IT/software delivery, including security-focused architectures and PaaS models.
  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments; system engineering experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Cloudbees CI, Nexus, and Bitbucket/Git.
  • Advanced automation and scripting skills using Python, Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
  • Expertise in containerization platforms like Docker and OpenShift.
  • Experience in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines (minimum 6+ years).
  • Familiarity with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and related technologies (minimum 5+ years).
  • Strong programming background with Java, C++, or Python (minimum 6+ years).
  • Experience with infrastructure management and testing automation is advantageous.
