Role Summary:
Our Game Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing interactive online games, often for platforms such as casino games, slots, sports betting, and other gambling-focused applications. This role involves coding gameplay mechanics, integrating visual and sound assets, and optimizing game performance for a seamless player experience. The Game Developer will collaborate with our designers, artists, and server developers to bring game concepts to life, ensuring that each game meets technical, aesthetic, and regulatory standards.
Main Tasks:
- Develop Game Mechanics – Write and implement code for gameplay functions, physics, player controls, and other interactive features.
- Collaborate on Game Design – Work closely with designers to transform game ideas into functional, playable experiences.
- Optimize Game Performance – Ensure smooth gameplay by optimizing code, graphics, and assets to minimize loading times and maintain frame rate.
- Integrate Audio and Visual Assets – Work with artists and sound designers to incorporate graphics, animations, and sound effects that enhance the player experience.
- Debug and Test Games – Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs to ensure a polished, functional final product.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance – Adhere to industry regulations for fairness, security, and responsible gaming practices.
- Implement User Interface (UI) – Build and refine the game interface to make it intuitive and visually engaging for users.
- Stay Updated on Industry Trends – Continuously learn about new game development tools, languages, and best practices to innovate and improve development processes.
Personal Requirements:
- You have strong skills in languages commonly used in game development, such as C++, Java, or JavaScript, and experience with game engines (Unity, Unreal Engine).
- You have the ability to creatively address gameplay challenges and optimize for player engagement.
- Your attention to detail is second to none. Your precision in coding, asset integration, and UI design are stellar in order to ensure a smooth player experience.
- You have a sound understanding of fundamental math and physics principles, especially for interactive and realistic game mechanics.
- You are an effective communicator who can work closely with designers, artists, and server teams to align on game features and mechanics.
- You have the ability to adapt to project changes and learn new tools and technologies as needed.
- You have a keen insight into user behavior and player engagement to create compelling and immersive experiences.
- You have the capability to manage deadlines and juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced development environment.
- You worked in a similar position for at least 3 years.
- You are able to work collaboratively in a creative team environment.
- You are fluent in spoken and written English. Our employees come from all around the world so English is our main company language.
