Java Software Engineer in MEXICO

Job description

Technical Skills Needed:

1) 2-5 years of backend java development experience for Mid. 6+ years for Sr.

2) strong programming logic

3) Database experience (relational and non-relational databases - SQL; MongoDB)

4) Bilingual: Speak English & Spanish

Highly Desired Skills:

1) Python

2) Scala

3) Ci/CD

4) Web Services

Relocation: Will provide relocation assistance if already living in Mexico. If they live outside of Mexico then they will be responsible for their own relocation.

Hybrid Working: Walmart has a hybrid working schedule and employees are expected to be onsite 2 times per week (Wednesday and Thursdays). This is subject to change based on the requirement of the business.

About the Team: This team is working on a search module engine within Walmart International. Team size is 6-7 and they are all located in Mexico

Interview Process: Entire process will take about 2 weeks

Hiring manager will decide who they want to interview. If they are interested in scheduling an interview they will reach out to us directly for scheduling. They will provide us with 4-5 open time slots.

• 1st round - 30-35 minute call to discuss their background and the role. Some technical questions may be asked.
• 2nd round - 1-1 ½ hour panel interview (3-4 people). This will be a technical interview. They will need to be able to share screens for the coding portion of the interview.
• There may be a 3rd round or the manager can move to a hiring decision.
