Project Description:
The core business of our client is in operating a power exchange for Central Western Europe, the United Kingdom and the Nordic countries.
The company develops own cloud platform which enables operation activity of the business.
Platform aiming at managing local flexibility trading between Flexible Service Provider and TSOs / DSOs fostering renewable and demand response integration into the grid and coordinating TSO and DSO flexibility needs.
Responsibilities:
Data integrity, availability and security;
Database management, change management;
Emergency response and troubleshooting;
Capacity management of services;
Support on-prem and migration to cloud;
Implement and maintain unit tests, collaborate to support integration testing;
Mandatory Skills Description:
Senior database engineer with at least 5 years of commercial experience in database management and transitioning towards the cloud;
Experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL, preferred at cloud computing platforms;
Data integrity, availability and security;
Identify and resolve technical issues;
Excellent communication, collaboration, autonomy skills;
Deploy and automate code using GitLab, Terraform, Ansible, IaC;
Monitoring, housekeeping, documentation, backup and restore;
