Proof is a fast-growing startup at the forefront of legal technology, offering a best-in-class platform trusted by thousands of law firms across the U.S. With our rapid expansion, we're looking for a skilled and motivated Mobile Engineer to join our team and help scale our React Native mobile applications.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of Proof's mobile applications using React Native, ensuring integration with backend services for a smooth, responsive user experience.
Work closely with backend engineers to optimize API interactions, focusing on mobile performance and security.
Assist in mobile app architecture improvements, while addressing performance bottlenecks and platform-specific challenges.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product and Design, to deliver impactful features and mobile optimizations in an agile development environment.
Participate in code reviews, promote best practices, and support a culture of technical growth and continuous improvement.
Stay current with mobile development trends and bring ideas to improve the platform.
Qualifications:
3+ years of mobile development experience, with preferably 1-2 years of hands-on experience in React Native, building and deploying mobile apps for iOS and Android.
Strong understanding of mobile architecture, platform requirements, and best practices for creating high-performance applications.
Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript within mobile environments, with a basic understanding of native modules for iOS and Android.
Experience with RESTful APIs and familiarity with GraphQL is a plus.
Knowledge of mobile CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
Strong communication skills and experience in agile teams.
Self-motivated with a passion for solving problems and a drive to learn.
