Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a talented Unity Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for game development, a strong technical background, and the ability to contribute to complex projects. If you are a seasoned developer with expertise in Unity or other game engines, we want to hear from you.
Primary Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with fellow engineers and teams to understand and address complex architectural issues
Maintain and extend common tool frameworks to enhance development efficiency
Proactively identify and resolve bugs, ensuring a seamless development process
Identify and refactor problematic areas within the codebase for improved performance
Conduct code reviews for team members, providing constructive feedback
Mentor junior engineers, offering guidance in feature development and debugging
Some Must-Haves
5+ years of experience
Proficiency in writing and debugging in a statically typed language such as C#
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
Experience with modern version control systems like Git
Excellent communication skills
Development experience with a popular game engine like Unity
Familiarity with large code bases, optimizing code, data, and bandwidth for improved memory consumption and execution speed
Strong organizational and communication skills, understanding production values, deadlines, and priorities
Professional experience working in an Agile/Scrum/Kanban environment
Some Nice To Haves
Experience in social/mobile game development
Previous professional experience as a respected engineer on a game team
Knowledge of full-stack development, including PHP, Java, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React
Familiarity with cloud development (e.g., AWS)
