Due to the company's large trading volume and top financial clients, this is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment where network reliability, performance, and security are mission-critical.
They're searching for a mid-level engineer to join a team of 2 and help ensure the network and data centers remain best-in-class.
The role would involve very occasional travel to a data center local to Reading.

Essential Experience:
✔️ Firewall Experience
✔️ Border Gateway Protocol
✔️ CISCO or Apstra exp
✔️ Knowledge of Data Centres - structure, patching, switches, etc
Beneficial experience:
✔️ Linux experience
✔️ Experience in low-latency, high-frequency environments (trading, betting, streaming)
✔️Python
✔️Ansible
✔️Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
✔️ Mutlicast experience
✔️ A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields.
NOTE - this role is only open to UK nationals, visa sponsorship isn't possible.
📍 Location – Remote (occasional visits to data centre near Reading may be required)
💰 Salary – Offering £50-62K, reflective of experience and skills
