SCOPE OF POSITION

The Crew Change and Manpower Manager will oversee all crew and manpower operations for rigs, ships, and vessels within the Guyana region, managing both onshore and offshore personnel requirements. This position is integral to ensuring seamless crew rotations, optimizing resource management, and supporting business growth by engaging in business development activities, including submitting tenders. The Crew Manager will lead the crewing team, uphold operational standards, and maintain regulatory compliance while meeting the client’s staffing needs.



Business Development & Tender Submission

Support business growth through proactive engagement in business development initiatives, including preparing and submitting tenders for new projects.

Build relationships with clients and industry partners to understand their manpower requirements and offer customized solutions.

Crew Management & Deployment

Oversee the planning, mobilization, and demobilization of crew members across multiple vessels and rigs in line with operational schedules and client requirements.

Ensure all crew change operations comply with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.

Manage and maintain crew rotation schedules, ensuring adequate staffing for continuous operations.

Manpower Planning

Assess and forecast manpower needs for onshore and offshore projects, ensuring optimal resource allocation for operational demands.

Coordinate with clients to align manpower requirements with project timelines and strategic goals.

Manage and monitor employee availability, ensuring effective crew utilization and timely replacements for smooth transitions.

Leadership & Team Management

Lead and mentor the crewing team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on safety, efficiency, and teamwork.

Set performance goals, provide feedback, and ensure continuous development opportunities for the crewing team.

Compliance & Regulatory Management

Ensure all crew certifications, medical records, and legal documentation are up-to-date and meet local and international standards.

Keep abreast of relevant laws and regulations affecting manpower and crewing in the oil and gas sector, implementing any necessary compliance measures.



Operational & Cost Efficiency

Identify opportunities to improve crew change processes, minimize operational costs, and increase productivity.

Oversee budgeting for manpower-related expenses, managing resources to meet financial targets.


HSE

Maintain standards of safety and comply with Company’s Health, Safety & Environment Management System requirements.

Take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others in the workplace.

Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirements.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Maritime Studies, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of offshore and onshore operational requirements, with experience in crew scheduling and compliance.

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a diverse team.

Experience with business development, tender submission, and client relationship management.

Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.


Minimum of 5 years’ experience in crew management or manpower planning within the oil and gas, maritime or construction industry.
