Backend Developer (Python & NodeJS) - Remote/WFH in PHILIPPINES

• Work Location: WFH Philippines
• Working Days: Mondays to Fridays if (Mid or Night Shift); Tuesdays to Saturdays (Morning Shift)
• Available Shift Options (You may choose): PH Morning Shift 6 AM, PH Mid shift 5PM or PH Night shift 10 PM

About the Role

This role involves building and maintaining the backend infrastructure for data-driven applications, primarily using Node.js and Python. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing RESTful APIs with robust security and authentication protocols, developing data processing modules, and integrating machine learning models with the backend where applicable. The position emphasizes ensuring backend scalability and optimizing performance for real-time data applications. Required skills include a strong foundation in Node.js, Express.js, and Python (Django or Flask), with over 5 years of experience in backend development, API creation, data management, and secure server handling.

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop and maintain the backend using Node.js and Python frameworks for data-intensive applications.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, managing authentication and security standards.
• Develop data processing modules, integrating ML/AI models with the backend where necessary.
• Ensure backend scalability and optimize performance for real-time data applications.

Qualifications:

• Node.js, Express.js, Python (Django/Flask).
• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Expertise in API development, data handling, and secure server management.
• Exposure in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
