We are a global IT company with 2000+ employees operating across 5 different locations worldwide. Our company is dedicated to delivering innovative technology solutions to clients across diverse industries. We already have a robust Information and Corporate Security teams, and now we are looking to expand our security functions by hiring a Director of Corporate Security to oversee all non-IT-related security operations.


Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Director of Corporate Security to design, implement, and manage comprehensive security strategies for our office-based, commercial operations worldwide. This role will focus on physical security, corporate asset protection, and employee safety across our global locations. You will work closely with the Information Security Director to ensure a cohesive approach to security across the company.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a global corporate security strategy for the protection of employees, facilities, and assets across all office locations.
  • Oversee physical security operations, including the management of security personnel, access control systems, surveillance, and monitoring systems.
  • Coordinate crisis management and emergency response plans, ensuring all global offices are prepared for emergencies such as theft, natural disasters, or workplace incidents.
  • Lead efforts to align security processes across international locations, ensuring consistent standards and practices are in place across all offices.
  • Collaborate with the Information Security Director to ensure alignment between physical and cyber security efforts, promoting a holistic security approach.
  • Manage relationships with external security vendors and contractors, including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and service improvements.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to evaluate the effectiveness of current security measures, identifying potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and oversee executive protection programs for senior leadership when necessary, including travel security and safety protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international security regulations, particularly for locations with specific legal requirements.
  • Provide security training and awareness programs for employees to ensure safety protocols are understood and followed across all locations.


Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in corporate security, including experience in managing global or multi-location security operations.
  • Proven experience in physical security, asset protection, and crisis management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (CPP, PSP, etc.) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with security technologies such as access control, surveillance systems, and emergency response tools.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing teams across multiple locations.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with departments like HR, IT, Facilities, and Executive teams.
  • Experience in managing security vendors, contracts, and budgets.
  • Knowledge of international security regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to travel to global locations as needed.
