Power BI Developer (Software Engineer) in COSTA RICA

Softcial, a premier software development company based in Costa Rica, has over 14 years of experience delivering data engineering, systems integration and software solutions to North American clients. We are currently seeking a Software Engineer to work as a Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing, building, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Work with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver solutions that meet their business needs.
• Clean, transform, and model data from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting.
• Optimize performance and data visualization of existing reports and dashboards.
• Stay up to date with Power BI updates and new features to enhance reporting capabilities.

Requirements:

• Solid command of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
• Strong understanding of data modeling, visualization, and dashboard creation.
• Strong knowledge and experience developing visual dashboards in Microsoft Power BI (at least 15 dashboards developed from the scratch including advanced DAX functions).
• Experience with Excel and other data analysis tools is beneficial.
• Experience working with SQL.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and techniques.
• Strong English Communications skills (C1 conversational minimum level required)
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science.
• Immediate availability
